Just ordered this with MA. It has just been released and not much video/sound clips available for more accurate assessment. Shawn said i can still change my mind. What do u guys think? Carbon or Titanium tip?

I think it comes only carbon tips.....

But very unlike you..... Thought you very adverse to modding???

I am averse to unofficial mod. This exhaust is approved for use for the F10 M5 and is MA supported, so no need to worry abt warranty. Hey, i have perf exhaust on my M3 My prev 135i had quite a lot of performance parts added at PML. I think there is an option for Titanium tips.

I think Shawn said something like 11.5k everything in including LTA inspection. Oh, got 5% customer discount. Quite steep i must say. Hope they will offer some more discount. Akra quality however, is out of this world.

I read that F10 M5 only has cats in the downpipe, so most aftermarket exhausts are downpipe back exhaust. No wonder MA can get it approved by LTA.

Shawn said prob in June. The price is a bit on the high side, but that is to be expected for any new product. At least i know MA is not selling it with super high markup.

But the video the M5 Akra exhaust sound better than the stock ones though.

There isn't any good sound clip of the exhaust. Most of those online are taken off that MotoGP safety car, but do sound pretty decent despite that. Hope the final product could justify the price tag. The stock exhaust does sound a little tame.

Not yet. Waiting for heads-up from Shawn. So far, there is not much info concerning this exhaust even from Akra's own web site. No sound clips available.
