I'm driving a 3-4 year old E60 523i, about 45k km mileage... How much would the repair costs?

May have to either visit PML or air con specialist for help.
Unlikely press wrong button, as there shouldnt be sound if wrong button is pressed.

I didnt see white particles coming out of the vents, but hours before the air con stopped working, i did notice some white smoke coming out of the bonnet. Initially i thought it was the lorry beside, but come to think of it, i think something got fried.Marcus45;577736 said:Did you see white particles coming out of the vents? If yes, your cooling coil is leaking, this is might be the cause why your air-con is not cold.
Dont bother to go to "normal" workshop to request them to check your aircon, instead you should go to air specialist directly instead. I did went to a reputable BMW workshop who charged me $80 dollars to top up the gas but unable to determine the root cause.
Just becareful and go to those reputable air-con specialist. I have very bad experience a shop named Tomika.
Just sharing my experienced...

Don't ask why me that got the blower going .................. it just did.
tatsit;578169 said:I just went to motto aire, there is this old uncle helped me diagnose, when he pump gas into the condenser, white smoke came out immediately. So he recommended me to change it. I chose an OEM because its cheaper, but some how I felt a bit regret as I don't know whether it can last.
He still told me my compressor may have problems, may need to change once he change the condenser and diagnose further
