Also got the same idea as you. This is the requirements from LTA
The addition of sunroofs may affect vehicle safety. Therefore, the sunroof fitted must meet one of the recognised international standards e.g. ECE, DOT, BS, JIS. The vehicle fitted with the sunroof must also pass an inspection at any LTA authorised inspection centres.

Well, I don't think that passing the LTA would be a problem. According to the website of the guy installing Hollandia s/r, they know that this is a requirement and they would install such as to pass the inspection. What I am more concerned is the finishing ( will it look out of place or would it blend in nicely ) and will it function properly, like a factory fitted one.
