Advise on spacers for e90

Need some advise/recommendations on spacers to get/or not to get:

Current ride : e90 with rim dimensions :
18x8 ET34 225/40/18 front
18x8.5 ET37 255/35/18 rear.

Wat size spacers are recommended and where to get? Would be good if price info is available
Would like to get the flushed look with the body without rims protruding out.. Missed that look on my previous E46..

Btw, read up some threads on avoiding spacers/ not recommended? What's the hiccup there? Anyone care to share?

nothing wrong with spacers, but if can get a rim with the perfect offset that would be most ideal. always better to have less seperable parts

i'm running 18" style 193M setup which is identical to your setup
based on my search for spacers, front = 5mm & rear = 10mm would be good
get hub centric spacer and longer lug nuts.
by the way, i did not install spacer. fyi.

i guess you can get the spacers from any reputable tyres and rims shop. you can also check with the site sponsors.
afaik eibach and h&r spacers are widely use for e90. happy hunting.
