Advice Needed - Inactive Car for 4 Months

Is it alright to disconnect the battery? Any risk of electronics damage? Or should I just leave it to drain? Paid $600 for battery 12 months ago.

Anything I should be mindful of?

Nothing wrong to disconnect the battery except for the fact that if your battery is in the trunk electrical power is required to open the boot the conventional way.
