Advice needed for super sprint exhaust for F11 528i

Hi, I've just fitted the supersprint exhaust system on my F11, it seems that it is quite loud and causing quite a fair bit of vibrations and rattling noise. Are these normal for aftermarket exhaust systems? Quite a newbie in this area.
Would appreciate on some advice. Thanks in advance.

It's not normal to have vibrations and rattling noise due to aftermraket exhaust. Go back to WS and ask them to recheck installation

Do I need to do anything to the software? It seems that it's not as smooth.

Nothing to do with software. Cause of vibration is either wrong exhaust installed or never install properly.

After adjustment, the vibrations are not as obvious but the engine and gear change does not seem to be running as smooth, is there a run in period?

Don't think there are any run in period for exhaust. If you are very sure that engine and gear box does not run smooth after the exhaust installation then this system might not be suitable for your car. But I'm just guessing, best is to send it to workshop for check. There are just too many things can go wrong (something damage during installation, did not install properly, wrong parts, restrictive exhaust causes too much back pressure, etc .. )

Check for exhaust leaks ...... Look at all the exhaust joints and see if there are carbon marks. Or hoist the ride up, rev the ride and use your hand to feel for exhaust gases escaping .......

Hi, thanks for the advise. It seems that after the change, the fuel consumption has increased. Is this the usual ?

Nope. Unless you like the sound of exhaust so heavier on right foot

You sure it's correct exhaust for your car? Vibration, not as smooth and more fuel - all don't sound (no pun intended) right

Yeah, the exhaust is brand new and meant for the F11 528i. From Jeep Chee, Supersprint.
