Since your airbags were deployed...I would suggest that you go to a reputable workshop that knows BMW well to handle the repair.

Its not a case of changing the airbag steering wheel and passenger only. Once the airbags deploys...you have to change the whole steering assembly as it would be out of alighment.

Dun sting on the repair...its your life you are talking about.

wow sound serious :shock: not aware of it man i was assured by them come to think of it, they sure have to do so. mine is authorised wkshop scheme, not allowed to go other wkshop leh
wat abt after repair then quality check with reputable wkshop :thinking:

AuntiesUSee ?? That I dunno man....can't advise you. Why dun you ask workshops like BVO, Juzz4Cars to quote you a price then you talk to your insurance company....see if the price is the same....there is no reason for them to reject you from going to other workshops....UNLESS....they have some hanky panky business going under the table.
