to be fair to Avinash i like to state that i am very appreciative of him driving all the way down from kl in his 5 series and dirtying his car of course in the process delivering the 4 rims to me. rims were on his backseat and boot.

however unfortunately this is a bad transaction to begin with. description was provided by his fren who owns the rims (not him). hes just helping the fren to sell.

1. Items was wrongly advertised as 4 rims with 90% thread tyres.
2. one of the tyres was already bald
3. another tyres was actually damaged from internal and it was empty of air and unserviceable
4. spacers was provided but no nuts so in the end still cant fixed it - have to get a brand new set of spacers with nuts.

Hurry Tyres made the initial assessment for me that only 1 tyre was bald and thus have to change. Avinash provided a $100 discount but the new tyre would have cost me 700 so its a 600 extra down the shot. but in appreciation of him taking the effort i said what the hell just forget it and take it and eat the extra.

only during the next day when the new tyre arrive and hurry wanted to install then they realised that another tyre although thread is fine its empty and damaged internally. so have to order another one.

final assessment.

original intention was to get the set of rims and just install and get it over with last sat.
total budget was over inflated by 40%. kena grill and chop by the wife. guess another chanel bag is about to come to the home. sighhhh
better off to buy on ebay where power seller would be mindful of the description and sale of items as they have to worry about their sales and replutation. in fact ebay was selling the same set at a much lower price but the hassle would take close to a month to send to sg.

overall however avinash as a fren is a nice chap to chat with. just perhaps next time have to be more careful and accurate in description of sales.
