6 Months 318A for $119000, good price?

Is the above a good catch? Saw it on the papers yesterday.... Mileage is 6K.

Last batch of new 318i was only going to 128k with interest at 1.88%. if you take it at 119k for a 6 mths old carand pay 3.5% for used car interest rate, the car will in fact cost more than 136k depending on the loan size.

my friend tried to sell his 6 mths 318i and the dealer (T*S) offered 88k for it. the dealer told him that he will markup about 10k and sell it for about 96k after negotiation.

final price, my wife bought it for 92k including transfer fee.

Based on what I read from your posting.

Your wife bought 6 months old 318i for S$92K ????? Where to get this kind of lobang.

OMV for 318i is about S$45K (55% of OMV = S$25K - S$92K / 9.5 years = S$7K/Year Depreciation ???)

You mean your wife bought your friend's used car?

Better dun talk about it with 'em.

When 1 is damn happy with the low transacted price, the other probably would feel "loo gi".
Or if the price is perceived as good sell, then your wife might ask you to reimburse her the extra she paid by getting her a nice ring or something.

I believed S$115 will be reasonable price for 6 months old 318i because the owner must have bought the car brand new at S$128K to S$135K (Sport Version).

No doubt new E90 has launched but PML is selling at S$149K to S$155K for 320i (Same Engine at E46 318i).

However, if you have enough budget tried to look for E46 320i because new E90 only have 325i selling at S$180K++

Forget about getting below S$100K for 6 months old 318i (Too good to be true ?)

Darn i know nuts about the car market. E46 320i will be around how much? I am actually looking for the sports edition of 318i.

should be above $100k sounds about right... dep would be about 8k per annum for second owner...
