I take my car there for service and repair as this guy works for BMW for 7 years and he have the BMW computer which is link to Germary. So if car got any updates he will know . And if car still under PML warrenty and something serious he will call direct to PML tech supervisor tell him to service the car the next day.

John,

i was like you contemplating like you on 523i (6 cylinder) and 528i (4 cylinder). Went to test drive the 528i at PML and almost sign the paper. But i pull back cos i test drive the 523i at PPSL and it was silk smooth.

In the end i took up the pre own F10 523i... Loving the silky smooth drive and enjoying every moment...

6 cylinder FTW....

Re: 523 good or 528 good

is f10 523i 6cyc a "detuned" or it's just badged 523i and there is no f10 525i ... i know there is f10 528i 6cyc a detuned 3L 530i
in comparison, e60 523 is a detuned of 525 ... both 6cyc

Re: 523 good or 528 good

Confirm must buy 523 or 535 over 520 and/or 528 anytime...

In my opinion, the new 5 Series 4 cycl engine (albeit turbo) damn noisy like you buying a used BMW..!! Even some used cars dun sound so loud...

I personally will choose a 535 if budget permits...last time i saw Car Lngual in Bt Batok having ex stocks ( few colurs to choose some more..!!) But non M specs.

If really cannot decide, then buy the F30 335i...you wil have the best of 3 worlds..!!

Cheers....

Re: 523 good or 528 good

250k for 535i m-sport with 92k coe is possible but most likely it is totally bare. The only option is m-sport. The rest all don't have. HUD, comfort access, soft close door, Navi Pro, Hi-Fi Pro, auto boot close, fold down seats, reverse camera, xenon etc etc.

Re: 523 good or 528 good
