Hi all.
I am New to this forum.

Need to ask the expert here anyone face my problem.

my problem is whenever I try to use the central lock button in the car, it will blown the 15A fuse in the glove compartment after which I will have problem locking or unlock all my door via comfort access or key fob. Only way to get in by driver door only is by the key.

I have replaced the fuse myself and all back to normal except that I don't dare to use the central lock in car.

I also noticed the all lock function in the boot. sometime don't work.......

Been sending my ride to the workshop twice already for this problem but all they did was plug in the computer and say no fault found.

Anyone experience this before? I don't think the actuators is the culprit but I am suspecting the harness and central lock module either 1 of them is creating the overloading and blow the fuse when I use the central lock button in the car.

Thanks.

Overloading could be a short circuit in layman term. Could be wiring issue.

Just wondering if the computer is performing data acquisition on the realtime basis, did you try the central lock while the computer is still plug in and see if it can detect any error ?

How old is your ride ?

hi cy wong.
I happened to manage to see the real time basis mentioning central lock junction fault something like not communicating. problem is that it can be cleared and everything is back to normal. until I push the all lock or central lock button again which will blown the 15a fuse again.

as for my ride is coming 5 yrs

Just an update.
Replaced 2 x front doors actuators seems solved the problem as both actuators are giving intermittent false signal that confused the central looking module.

Hope this helps others.
Thanks
