320 & 318

318 is a 1.9 litre 4 cylinder... 320 is a 2.2 litre 6 cyclinder engine... think the power difference is about 20 hp... so depends on what you want...

i think for 2001, the 318i 1.9L 118bhp is replaced with the 2.0L valvetronic, making 140bhp. 2.2L 320i replaces the 2.0L 320i, making 170bhp to the earlier 150bhp.

Anyone has any idea what should be the market value for the above? post 2002 model?

i know those pre 2002 model for 320 is going for as low as 95k.

In 2001, the 1.9 litre (118 hp) 318 engine replaced with 2.0 litre (145hp) Valvetonic... also got facelift somwhere around that time... right RB?

Hmm.. after reading the past posts about the 6cylinder engine, i am really tempted own one. Even I have not driven one yet.

For a lower prices, I'd might consider a second hand 325 to a new 318.. what do u guys think?
