But man! A M5 in a sedan ...especially a WAGON is absolutely nasty! Imagine a supercharged M5 engine in a wagon badged as a 318..

Just curious, would a supercharged M5 be equi to a MTM?

Ryan, I don't think that an SCed M5 will be equal to an MTM RS6. This is mainly because of the nature of the M5 block. It is running pretty high compression so unless you want to rebuild the engine with lower compression pistons and the like, the amount of boost you can run through the block will not be a lot.

My guess, an SCed M5 will probably get 550 hp max? MTMs are running 600 hp plus...

it is similar to the "The Honda can never lose" joke that is floating around esp on US forums. Anything can beat anything

I'm in trouble in terms of losing appreciation for a great deal of cars that are not endurance track focused. Even the fast twin or triple lappers have increasingly diminishing appeal.. nearly everything looks boring next to LMP, GTS, GTP, and Formula type stuff. So I really don't care if Kia beats Ferrari or if Audi beats Merc or BMW, etc.
