218i Bluetooth volume very low when playing media on phone

Dear all,

the audio volume from my handphone (mi4i) via bluetooth is very soft.

Phone call volume is ok.
Bluetooth volume on phone has been maxed.

But it is really soft when I play media (e.g. music player, podcast etc) on the phone. I have to turn up the volume (to more than 50%) to be able to hear.

I wonder if anyone has similar experience or possible solution(s).

I experience that also. Not sure if it's normal or not. Probably a software fix in future might change that.

Can't hear the party speaking on the other end? Any troubleshooting I can do?
