Chinese walked over, all the more I believe he was provoked first.
For eg, If I stole your parking lot, it is more likely you come over and tell me off. If I stole your parking lot and came over to tell you off. I am damn garang!
Likewise, if I cut into your lane dangerously, it'sI won't get out of my car to come and screw you for horning me.
That said, my tainted perspective stems from many encounters with AMs since I was teenager.
Whether it was first hand or not, I dare to say 7/10 are F#$%#$. And I am already being very kind...
On your statement about Sporeans not behaving like this in M'sia. That's exactly my point!
You should always "respect" the locals. Whether is out of fear courtesy or just being smart about it, one should not push their weight around in a foreign land.
Do we need to come to a point where we are deemed as a society of cowboys who can pull out guns from our glove boxes and fire at will before foreigners stay in their cars?
If a Sillyporean goes overseas and yaya papaya and something bad happens. I am not going to say WTF! Infact he deserves it!
But if a citizen gets bullied in his own country by a foreigner, that's something akin to a dick... I won't swallow that!
Call me naive but I still strongly believe that most Singaporeans are generally civil and non-confrontational.
And if given the "respect" we will not abuse it and go around looking for trouble with AMs.

Yes Pinky, I would agree, generally but that was last time ( quite many years back). Nowadays I find the lack of social graciousness ever growing and the trend is worrying. Like everyone is afraid of not enough resource, not enough space, not enough properties, not enough roads to drive on, not enough time..... sigh.... The " better you behind me than I behind you" mentality. Sian.
