2.5 E85 FC so horrible?

hi guys got myself a used e85 and my first tank cant even hit 400km before the light came up.. is it common?

i have never hit 400km.....unless drive at 1500rpm all the way..

thats pretty sad my previous e90 no matter hw I wreck also can hit 450.. haha.. so the fc for a z4 is like how many lts per km?

E90 is better FC...
Z4 not too sure man......

does ur boot hold alot of stuff? my e85 was getting me easily 10-11km/L 50/50 city/hwy driving.

hmmm I would nt alot.. 10-11km is like hw many km before the light came up.. cos I never see the capacity when I first pump.. btw wats the lowest grade of fuel our z4 can take? 95 ok?

just drive a 2-ton xc90 for a while.
then everything else will seem good in comparison.

6km/l standard. shiok.

Check your disa valves and vanos seals - usual culprits for the problems in power loss, lags and bad FC ......

IMHO don't skim on petrol grade. No point screwing up engine just to save few $ versus cost of a car, road tax & insurance

I seldom pump full tank. Usually $50 last 200-230km thereabouts. Am guessing you just collected car, probably not serviced in a while. Get the usual changed and it sud b back in tip top condition. FC was better with a little more spirited driving when traffic allows. Best not to pussy-foot the car.. Not built for that. After a while, you will not care abt FC...

As long as my e85 is not the odd one tat is drinking petrol.. I'll just live with it of course.. Just afraid tat something is faulty causing such poor fc..

Anyhow FC has many dependencies. Only you will know if it is normal. Get the factory numbers and compare against it factoring your driving style/conditions and car setup.

For starters, try getting the car serviced and get a proper tune up.

That means at the bare minimum eg. engine oil change, spark plugs, air filter, etc as well all the necessary wear and tear

E85 fuel tank size = 55L

E90 fuel tank size = 60L

Thus E90 can travel slightly further?

think Z4 is not a very good FC car.....even if it is comparing E90 325i vs 2.5L Z4

Dont care about how many km for full tank, for me mostly 1L/5-7km in Singapore road nia.
