Re: New NSX ? OT to Breyton: there's a difference between a loss-making car company vs a car sold at a loss. FWIW, if this is Toyota's thinking, then there's something miscalculated. ps if they are going to make people pay US$500k for the car, I sure hope they removed the Toyota Motor...

Re: New NSX ? While I am not a fan of the 599 looks, it does seem that the Lexus will just about match it in performance stakes but be priced higher.

Re: New NSX ? In most companies, NRE (non recurring expenses) such as R&D are NEVER taken into consideration when considering product margins. Ditto with opening up new plants or factories. It's the cost of goods that determines profit/loss on a product line. Otherwise, it's just as easy...

Re: New NSX ? So we are working on incorporating capital costs into the equation now? For the Bugatti, a lot of the stuff were actually handcrafted, so it's not just R&D.

Re: R8 gets booosted Saw a V10 R8 on Old Jurong Road/Bukit Batok Ave 6 turning into Hillview. Saw it in the rear mirror and first impressions was that this R8 was wider/more squat than I remembered. Only when he made the turn did I notice the oval single pipes on each side vs quad circular...

Re: Porky Boxster Spyder From the rear 3 quarters, It has shades of the Audi R4 concept spyder. Gorgeous. So is this the new MY2010 Boxster or a limited edition? I sure hope it is the former.

Re: Lexus LF-A unveiling as we speak (post) That customizable LED/LCD display next to the tachometer is PURE GENIUS. I think Ferrari and Audi already build something like that, but they don't look as seamlessly integrated.
