Z4 E89: First mods/options (to be) considered? All welcome...

How much did it cost u? Thanks.

By the way, installing that will void warranty? Thanks. :)

EUR299 + EUR15 shipping = EUR314

It doesn't seem to alter any of the original components, but it does patch off the existing connectors (installation instructions on the website), so I'm really not sure if it violates any warranty conditions. You could argue that the module only affects certain portions of the car and warranty should still apply for the rest of the car. So, you may want to do some homework on your own to be sure.

Yeah, I have ordered and installed liao. Works perfrectly as advertised. Now no need to stress when opening or closing top at traffic lights. And can operate top and windows, opening and closing, using the remote. This is the way it should be!

A bit fiddly to install, but kaki lai also can - esp. if you already have a bit of experience with electrical/electronic stuff and some manual dexterity.

Hi ac, I just ordered from the Reinhold Engineering website, they shipped it over from Germany and installed myself. Took me about 45 mins to install, but I think will definitely be faster the second time.

Besides the Reinhold Module, have any bros here looked at the or have installed the "smartTOP Roof Top Control for Z4 (e89) Roadster" from EAS?

Seems more user friendly compared to Reinhold Module for E89?

Link to product as below:
