Please no! It will cause so much problems for us by road closures for the silly race. Having the race in Singapore doesn't mean a thing since it's still best watched on TV and F1 tickets are astronomically priced.

Silly race? Come on dude...it's a once a year event calendar.
I think that's great. It's like that Ching Gay thing...yeah, it's causing road closure but it adds cultural values to the local communities.

A F1 race adds more value to Singapore tourism than a casino. At least ang mohs will not think that Singapore is part of China!

I can only say that the spin-off will be tremendous. Definitely a better choice than having a silly casino here.

Besides, I think that the race will not be held in downtown area anyway. They dig up the roads far too often there so the road surface no good.. hahaha... Most likely it will be in the suburbs somewhere where they can actually have a bit of space to set up all the necessary infrastructure.. and agreed, F1 race adds more value than a casino...

I'll take both Casino & F1 Track
