Hi boys, I just exported my E39 M5. Paper alone is slightly over S$100K just before 9th year. Body is just S$15-20K.... crap.
Anyway, I kept the body @ another country for myself to use when I'm there :twisted:
I fought hard if i should COE it or export. In the end, the mind won.
My friend also exported his E46M3 recently & they actually took the car apart for parts which is worth more for sure! He paid S$5K just to fix the SMG actuators & some other parts last year :furious:
I was thinking about that E36M3 for sale now but thought about the price :thinking: .... & like u guys said. Insurance & especially finance is terrible. They won't give u much money for it so you have to fork out a lot of cash. @ the end of the day, classics are not valued here.
I have owned more than 6 COE cars by now & will still buy them as I'm a DIY kind of guy.
