To all new generation beemer owners... came across this thingy... PIAA has a brand new LED Ring Marker specially designed for BMW with Angel Eyes. The 6500k LED marker (OEM fit)replaces the standard yellow 3800k.

Hia tee, who is PIAA? i suppose must operate open the cluster to install the ring right? if yes, mine buay sia leh.. cluster crack heong kan. if they open before 7, i sure mai tu liao..

More info please, and again, where or who is PIAA ???
My buddy changed just his bulb to the white ones, do this new one involve the ring as well ??

If you have more info, kindly detail the change it involves, and if possible how much.
My ride is E90 with stock yellow halogen.

Folks...

PIAA is a lighting brand... made in Japan... they specialise in manufacturing bulbs, fog lamps etc and they are expensive too...

Do check out this website (in Japanese):

Go to the What's New Columm... scroll down and you will see something that says BMW...

In addition... AUTOBACS in Bukit Batok carries a host of PIAA products... maybe can 'cho cho' them to bring it in... there is also a distributor in M'sia.

Apparently... the PIAA LED Angel Eyes Marker was specially designed to replace the original orange bulb of the angel eyes... very much like a plug and play. guaranteed white... 6500k white... no operation needed... I could be wrong so pls dont flame me... the pics looked good.

thanks for the link & wld be interesting to compare the difference between PIAA & the Brex which I had got a friend to purchased from Japan for the same purpose...changed the angel eyes effect to white color.

PIAA probably cost slightly more than the Brex which I had bought at ard S$350 for a pair of Leds ( Each light up the 2 round rings).
Brex is just plug & play...no drilling or wire reconfiguration require at all and apparently PiAA works the same way.

Btw, Brex works on E90,E60,E63,E65 & E87 as well.

if yr fren can find a manufacturer fast enough to develope aftermarket Angel eyes' effect for E90.....the response will be overwhelming.

Currently, I'm awaiting price of the PIAA white LED ring Marker for 3 series as well as BREX White Ring.

As I am not an advertiser, it is not so nice for me to post price and sell through here. However, if you need these items, just PM me and I will let you know the price. There are also loads of carbon parts available like the kidney grills, bonnets, etc. However, as I don't have many BMW customers for now, I don't keep stock. Hi Guys, correct me if I am wrong ; the stock E90 lights do not have the Angel Eyes plastic ring and the attachment to hold the led bulb right ?? The 2 head lights pair is also attached together , (unlike the xenon ones which are seperate), so unless there's a special conversion, there will be no Angel Eyes.
So far no one in the market have conversion for E90, unless we change the whole light, right ??

Hi there, this is meant for the Xenon healight cluster that comes with ur angel eyes, hope this helps eh.

I've got the LED ring marker installed, nothing but a change of bulbs and its not as bright as the Angel Eyes,.... i can show you guys... but how can i upload pictures in here ?
