Parking offence penalty...

Hi Peeps,

Just got a parking summon for parking within 6m of a junction.

Anyone got that b4? Have been trying to look for the penalty but unable to find it online.

Pls advise...

It should be just a compounded fine of S$80.oo with no demerit points. Do note that the amount is my estimate.

May I suggest you write in a politely worded appeal? LTA is not entirely heartless, especially not with the Hougang BUY-erection (500/60/2) on the cards...

You might get a reduction in the quantum payable. And if you live in Hougang, you might even get a waiver?!!?
