Oh ok . I got the alpine white with Dakota red interiors .

Was considering the Melbourne red initially but felt that AW still compliments the M performance exterior accessories best.

Hmmm I got it quite early so perhaps the SE did not mention.

Probably after the official launch date perhaps. Early march.

However, because I don't have the $$$, I'm thinking of the 228i. Even so, I was wondering... can we chip the 220i up to match the 228i performance? If so, does it make more sense to get the 220i and chip up? Apart from the different state of tune, what are the differences between the 228i and the 220i?

I think there was a similar discussion on 328i and 320i then.

Not exactly sure on all the differences between the two models but the 328i have pistons that are of different part numbers with the 320i.
