newbie- noisy 2006 E90 doors

Hi, i just got my ride 1 week ago and face the above problem. Read something in the forum that this can be resolved by bringing it back to PML. As i wont be returning to PML for servicing, can i DIY on the tape pasting? Brought it to BVO, they apply some oil on the rubber seal and the rattling noise came back again. Appreciate if anybody can help on the fiction tape pasting.

try the talcum method ... it may help. cheap and good.

last but not least, buy the 3M friction tape (try to find where to buy) and get a workshop to install for you.

Try loosen the door striker (latch-on the body), and tighten it back to its original spot or moved inwards slightly and tighten it back.
I had this problem, the door rattling noise could be heard pretty loud and been 4 yrs, only recently take the time to tackle it.

This is a known fix issued by BMW Service Bulletin. Try it.
