PML offers an exclusive and enhanced Aftersales Service experience at the New and Improved East Coast Centre.

Singapore, 2 June 2010 –

Performance Motors Limited (PML) reopens its Aftersales facility in East Coast Centre (ECC), at 280 Kampong Arang Road. This $7 million revamped facility offers customers quicker turnaround for their BMW servicing and greater convenience. Customers will enjoy a larger and more comfortable open concept service reception which allows customers to view their cars as they are being serviced. The newly refurbished ECC also introduces a first to BMW customers a new express service – the Fast Lane Service, which takes the convenience factor to a whole new level by offering five distinct services, each completed within an hour. Customers may enjoy a cup of coffee or tea whilst tapping onto the complimentary WiFi connection to surf the internet in the expanded and more luxurious lounge area as they await their BMWs to be serviced.

The Fast Lane Service covers the following:
1. Engine oil service;
2. Spark plug service;
3. Brake fluid / micro filter service;
4. Front brake service;
5. Rear brake service.

For BMW customers who travel, PML offers the popular PML Airport Service from ECC. The customer may request for a complimentary chauffeur service to the airport and leave their BMW to be serviced. On their return, the customer may opt for a chauffeur service (at a nominal fee) from the airport to collect their serviced BMW. The complimentary chauffeur service is offered during business hours (a nominal fee is chargeable after business hours and on weekends and public holidays). ECC also offers a comprehensive range of Aftersales service at this newly refurbished centre with a larger workshop capacity, upgraded equipment with component repair capability, fully equipped diagnostic bay and tyre replacement facility. Mr. Teo Kian Meng, Director of Aftersales, said, “The recent significant investments in PML’s facilities, first at Sime Darby Performance Centre, 303 Alexandra Road, and now the East Coast Centre, demonstrate how committed PML is to provide superb experiences to meet our valued and loyal customers’ expectations. Our customers’ trust and confidence in PML are extremely important to us and we will continually strive to serve them better in our appreciation for their unrelenting support.”

The reopening of the ECC makes it highly convenient for BMW owners who live in the proximity of the East and customers who work around the Central Business District. Together with its two other service centres at Alexandra Road and Dunearn Road, this network of Aftersales facilities provides a complete range of services to BMW car owners.

PML aftersales sucks. That's why I bought a Lexus. Totally forgot about it til too late. Bought another BM and one more on the way....they should really improve it. There was once after servicing they delivered my car to me covered in dirt! Then asked me if I wanted it washed. This was after I confirmed pick up time and they made me wait an extra half hour. Then there was another time they ruined my brakes by pouring in some contaminated fluid and kept my car in the shop for over a week whilst they fixed it. During that time they gave me a Lancer to drive. In heavy wind on the ECP I could feel the car swaying. Not to mention the cost of engine oil and brake pads....after which I got them done outside. Another time, my 2 week old BM died on the road. Whole computer shut down at River Valley Killeney Rd intersection. Called BMW assist to help and it took them 2hrs to get there. About a month later it happened again and it took them 1.5hrs to get there. Then my friend got locked in his BM. Doors just wouldn't open. Took them 2 hrs to "save" him. Really crap.

keke...too late. Just ordered the new F10 last weekend! Am praying it's not a lemon. Our other BM so far ok...just serviced it today. I wonder what sort of engine oil they use since it burns up really fast. Almost freaked out when I thought we got charged $20 for car wash but it was for a "washer"...hahaha!:lol:
