I am on the verge of pulling the trigger for a S55 M3/M4 but am now slightly apprehensive on doing so.
When doing research on the reliability of the engine, I came across many forum posts by owners who have experienced a spun crank hub on their S55 engines, stock and modified. It seems to be an inherent design flaw of the engine.
