hello.. help with rims info for Z4

Hi,

just joined the thread cause i am looking for advise to get an 18 or 19" rims for a used Z4 2.5 that i just got. I would prefer a used set of rims please and i am not too knowledgable about the model number for the Z4 ( ie E XXX?)

a bit on myself?... well i am a bit of a car nut. i have a 7 series for work, a Z4 for late night drives to get air and sunday morning cruise for breakfast and a 560-4 for adrenalin fix in Sepang.

Please help me with good recommandations of used rims for my Z4.

Hi gary,

welcome in man........
your Z4 (soft top) is E85, the current model is E89 (hard top).

go with 19ins nicer...........

you may wanna call Mr Ong 9111 2057, his shop is over at Sin Ming Autocare, level 3, i can recall which unit..... he has got guite a number of used rims....

Thanks man! really appreciate the tip. I have the Z4 chipped up but it still feels sluggish but the mid to high range is improved. would be good to have lighter rims as well, any specific recommandations?

Hi gary,

oh i see......if not go with 18ins.....(much lighter)

front 8.5 / 18 then rear 9.5 / 18 (staggerred, nicer)

so far what did you chip?.ECU re-map?

Yeap. DMS it to 240 horses. .
