This is my F10 there are many like this but this is mine.
Felt like I over paid but at $15xxx dep a year for a 5 year 53000kms on the odo im prob paying for peace of mind.
Picked up from dealer as many others were avail but in poorer condition.

So 1st up, stage 1 tune ! Plenty of tuners to choose from like Codewerx tune is $1180 (No idea what brand or tuner or anything specific) or used JB4 (had it before on my E60 and was NOT impressed) on the forum but none of which I could have control over.

Locally you'll find a few dealers for bootmod3 but personally i'd like to try my hand at it.

Long story cut short, YES definitely do this if you're planning on increasing HP to your car this is the way bmw should have tuned it out of the box ! Car is more alive and responsive, added bonus is there is a diagnostic capability built into the software for any codes that may come up in the future ! Fuel consumption does not seem to have changed at all but that's besides the point.

extremepowerhouse was the seller no issue remember you have to send him your VIN as part of the message so they can activate it for you. I paid approx $500 usd but i think I could have gotten it cheaper so try your luck as its just a digital license.

I later bought the entire map pack for an additional $50 usd as it allows me to switch between stage 1 and stage 2 and 95 and 98 ron.

You can use a laptop(mac/win) or handphone(ios/android) for the flash super easy don't let people fear monger you into not trying something out for yourself

Also when you register your user name and pw DONT register via facebook if you wish to sell the license on next time.

Whilst I was on aliexpress I admit I went on a shopping spree for some replacement items that were in bad condition.

I don't have pics of everything during the install. Suffice to say its possible to DiY as I did a lot of it myself or had my audio shop guys do it for me instead of going to a workshop

Brake and Accelerator Sports Pedals (installed DiY)
Bavworks was trying to sell me a custom made F10 dead/rest pedal at $108 but after a month of waiting I gave up.
For the F10 they don't have a rest pedal that'll fitthe RHD, however the F30 RHD rest pedal will fit the F10 but won't totally cover the top portion.
I ended up spray painting mine black to cover it up as my orignal rest/dead pedal was beige.

I went the route as you. Changed from S4 to F07. Had the E60 before and really miss the E60 feel, so back to BM again
 
So recently I got a set of B8 with H&R springs from a good friend. After the install and rolling around for a couple of weeks i'd have to say that coming from the stock suspension it was pretty uncomfortable. So out with the H&R springs and onto something with a bit more comfort in mind.

After searching around calling MULTIPLE workshops i've come to the conclusion. Its WAY cheaper to do this in boleh land. A quick look around I found a workshop that

1. Stock the parts
2. Will do the install
3. Alingment

Pretty much EVERY single WS in sg wanted in excess of $750+ WITHOUT alingment and GST not included yet !

Personal review of the WS in JB
1. Nice clean and modern looking
2. Foreman seemed to know his stuff plenty of eur cars around
3. Open to neg and HAPPY to meet and greet new customers.
4. Go early enuff and you get priority !

And YES EVERYTIME you touch your suspension and alignment is in order.

So yes car is a tad higher then when it had the h&r springs but is sooo much more comfortable !

I notice after the map update, the recommended path is always the major road throughout instead of expressway. Do you experience the same?

Hi Bro Rssid

How was your bootmod 3 after u tried it. What significant improvement did u attain. And does your Vehicle temperature suddenly drop after u install BM3?
 
BM3 is the best thing i've done to the car so far no regrets. Car feels more alive all the time, temps have remained normal dont see the need to activate max cooling.

Hi may i ask when u mentioned temp, which temperature do u mean? Water or oil gauge?
