Braking Calipers

Re: Braking Calipers

Doesn't that brake kit come with rotors as well?. You should always change em' as a set.. unless you tell me it was just the calipers for sale and you were wondering if you could just use ur original rotors back instead of buying a set of new rotors for the BBK. If that's the question then i do not think so, i think min rotor size is 332 or something like that. your current rotors should be too small.

Re: Braking Calipers

i meant.... if the weight of the rotors are not gonna affect the pick up of the car that much. especially my car is just a 4 pot... is it advisable to change to that set of BBK including the rotors

Dude, ANY BBK is goanna be lighter than ur stock rotor and caliper,
the question you need to ask yourself is that whether you need the xtra braking power instead of wondering if stock rotors are lighter than the brembo ones.

Jack where you buy the TE37? I think I can tahan the ugly look of the 18, because I cannot tahan the 19" ride (forum feedback) on a daily driver. In fact it will make me slower in any other place other than track because the bad ride affect my confidence.

You can shortcut my research, thank you.

Is 997GT3 and Cayman offset same?

If I buy, this one will have - CSC3. Lightness > PS2. Wear > PS2. and since I am not a race driver grip < ps2 is OK lah...

Re: Braking Calipers

GT3 offset n Cayman is different in the rears...coz the GT3 wheel is much fatter

So for your Cayman ( and hence the TE37 ) , the specs they hv for you is
8.5J +50
10.5J +40...swee2x

Check out...light weight forged rims
