Brake Warning Light

Have a faulty brake light on the top section of one side. Does anyone know how much it would cost to get it replaced or what could be causing it? Thanks.

might be time to replace pads. you have to replace 2 sensors, 1 for the front and another for the rear axle. these get worn out when your brake pads are thin

Maybe I didn't state the issue correctly but its not the brakes that have the problem its the brake light as in when I press on the brakes and the rear lighting that light up.

Probably the bulb need to be changed. Bulbs cost about $1 a piece. I'd buy a couple as the other ones will also fail soon after. If you really want to test (just for the fun of it) swap the left and the right bulbs.

replace the rest since they may stop working pretty soon too. safety first.
