Hi guys, I am wondering if Eisenamann quad exhausts is legal for my ride? Cause currently I have checked their website to see it is only for N55 engine. Please help!

Thanks in advance!

Yes it is applicable for your ride and it sounds AWESOME!

Re: BMW F10 528i N20 Engine w/ Eisenmann quad exhausts

I have a question also. I bought and installed a second hand exhaust that is LTA certified, but i don't have the cert. Need to go down LTA for inspection or can just get the cert from previous owner? I cheapskate remb inspection not cheap.

Thanks guys! From what I know, it's less than $100 for the inspection.

Do you know if it is a catback version or just a mufflers?

Re: BMW F10 528i N20 Engine w/ Eisenmann quad exhausts

Just mufflers. I just got mine installed and it's pretty loud!

Also can mean Axle-back exhaust because Cat-back exhaust includes a high performance Cat.

The "loud" you mentioned should be the loudness of droning (or drone). Aftermarket if externally too loud how to pass the sound test and get certified, right?

If possible .... Get the cert from the previous owner. If cannot find owner - get cert from distributor.

LTA won't pass unless you have the owner's or authorised distributor's papers.

I THINK have to do a transfer from previous owner to current owner in LTA. Otherwise, got problem.

Once that exo is registered under a specific chassis, w/o cert, going for inspection also no problem.

My previous ride comes with aftermkt exos. I went to inspection w/o cert (as previous owners also don't have). The guys @ inspection centre TL ly search the serial number from LTA database. I pass that last inspection in Sept 2013.

Hi Alessandroz, does it still retain the "flapper" function in the mufflers? I guess not?

Hi, I am not too sure, sorry. In eco pro mode, it sounds deeper and it sounds little like Subaru exhausts.

Nice. Maybe could meet up to have a listen. Is yours an LCI?
