DSC Failure every morning going up car park slope.
Going up car park slope, press gas to move up, there is a slight jerk, and DSC Failure appears.
Struggle to climb a bit.
Turn off engine and turn on again, no more error.

Thought it could be the ABS speed sensors. Changed all four sensors.
No errors going up car park slope for one week.
But re-appears again !!!!

Very annoying

This issue has been bugging me for the past few months.
DSC failure warning every morning climbing out of the condo carpark.
Was guessing it is related to the ABS sensors, but no.
Maybe transmission? etc etc

Finally, recalled that I changed petrol from Esso 5000 to Esso 8000 on the day I changed my ABS sensors.
The DSC failure warning went away for one week, and I thought it was due to the ABS sensors.
But omg, it was actually due to petrol change.

Esso 8000 gave the 7 series more power to climb the slope!!!!!!!

Solved hopefully. If not , will report here.

Instead of guessing I think getting a workshop to scan your car and properly diagnose the issue would be better. Octane rating will have little to no effect and could just be a coincidence.

Ok. It is actually the transmission. Did a transmission overhaul for Sgd2500 with two year warranty. So no more issue going up steep car park.

Dsc error still occur like once a month. But disappear after turning engine off and on. The error is 200D02. I google and bmw chinese website said there is no fix for this error?? Strange.
