2008/2009 E60 ... can only afford these

so many questions, don't know what to ask

should consider purchase from PPSL or look for advert from sgcarmart?

looking for a PML unit ... no orphan ... anything else to look out for?

520 / 523 / 525?

i understand that as in every ride, take over already must spend some money, spend in for "overall servicing" lah. $2-$3K not so bad but anything more then chiam liao. wallet not big enough.

driven korean/japanese cars ... but 1st time thinking to change to conti ... present to self for all the hard work in life ... getting very old liao. never driven/owned a bmw before so trying to find out more. can advise?

Re: 2008/2009 e60

Get wat u can afford....
if its a used car... whether jap/kor or conti its the same...
doesnt mean jap/kor make wont spend more then 2-3k

Go with ur heart and ur means...

life is short... Njoy!!!

Second hand car depends on luck. Must consider worst case scenario and what type of coverage given by dealers.

Re: 2008/2009 e60

that's the problem with buying a used ... any make also like that ... so its really a gamble
so far ... from what i see ...
2008/2009 ... E60 ... getting a 523 or 525 looks to be preferred. personally, 523 should be sufficient.
so if narrow down to a 2008/2009 523 ... any advise as to what to look out for?

seriously, dealer price are terrible!

but this PPSL one takes the cake -
BMW 5 Series E60/523I A RL/N52. Performance Premium Selection -
21,000km only?

oh - btw - does any one know if PPSL cars can bargain or its fixed price one?

If you really interest on that car, ask dealer drive to your preference workshop for pre-purchase inspection, normally cost $80-120. It will boost your confidence on purchasing.

I did the same whenever I wanted to get a second hand car. You can also get a good estimate of the parts that are due for replacement through the pre-purchase inspection, and use that to negotiate for a better price if it works in your favour.

520 523 525 530 all same depreciation. Why don't consider 530i? Adds rarity factor and alot more performance at the cost of 523/525. Except additional 500 road tax per year.

3 years plus is quite a long period. bodykit, intake, exhaust, rims, coilovers, brakes are just a list you can consider.

anw, calvin will mod till the day he scrap his car.
