all of sudden i saw flashes of light just like those used in photography.. or those red light camera flashes.
again and again for couple of time and wtf looks like it come from this metallic brownish f10..
it filtered out so i didn't get a chance to go around him to find out..

Totally illegal ... can cause accidents!

Then, must get some old fogey to take the rap and say old fogey was behind the wheel... cannot make it!

Re: strobe flashes from an f10...wth is that?

Those strobe red lights are not legal, in fact all strobe lights are illegal and by law, cannot be used on a civilian moving vehicle.

You can find these red strobe lights on sale* in Autobacs. However from my understanding, it can only be used during a vehicle breakdown i.e. used to warning other orad users of the hazard presented by the broken down vehicle.

* These r not banned items therefore selling is permitted, using is a totally different matter. Best example is NOS, any shop can import it in for sale but installing it in any ride is illegal. Any vehicle caught with NOS installed, e entire vehicle will be impounded and confiscated... owner continue to pay whatever loan outstanding :fineprin:

I believe there is no rules out-lawing those small strobe made for bicycles. Small enough and not powerful enough to be blinding to other road users.

Re: strobe flashes from an f10...wth is that?

if i m not mistaken, strobe lights are quite popular among some jap car nuts and in UAE too

they even hook up their entire exotics and the effect is like a badly decorated xmas tree, at least in my opinion

but although passe, i always 'secretly' thought blue neon undercarriage lights can be quite cool
the inner beng in me? hhaha

And, apparently, there is "no privacy law" (I just glanced from the TNP today), except when it pertains to the MIW?
