Smart or stupid?

A series of gaffe remarks by our 'exclusively' selected MPs and ministars had made us wonder - WHERE THE HELL ARE OUR REAL LEADERS WHO ACTUALLY CAN THINK BEFORE THEY SPEAK? Is sg politician standards soooo low now? :shakehea:

Any more to add? Let's collate all these dumb remarks they had made so far, just for the sake of reminding ourselves what we had chosen (or not chosen).

1.) http://sg.news.yahoo.com/mp-zainudin-draws-flak-for-posting-‘offensive’-quote---093144145.html

2.) MP Lim Wee Kiak apologises for comments on pay

3.) Khaw Boon Wan "Discourages" ITE, Poly Students from Pursuing University Degree | The Real Singapore

Re: Smart or stupid?

Strictly speaking, many of these clowns aren't "leaders"... they're just there to make up the GRC quota. And to applaud like North Koreans when their boss attempts to tell a joke on stage.

Many knows the GRC system helps such clowns in via the backdoor regardless of real leaders or boot lickers... it is just simple as that.

Re: Smart or stupid?

One of them actually tried to sue a blogger for making him look bad, after the blogger reposted his FB comment. Seriously :uhhh:

Re: Smart or stupid?

The social media exposed the EQ fallacies and the traits of social exhibitionisms of human beings, from words of strong expressions to photos of food, shopping items and even business-class airline check-in ..... *

Some are pure sharing, some are making a point, some are seeking assurance and recognition ....... amongst of which will most certainly carry social fallacies and reveal the logical gaps.

Mancini failed to meet KPI, sacked.

That's the REAL world.

No iron rice bowl.

Re: Smart or stupid?

Social media tools like FB is a double-edge sword. How many times have we seen these wannabes posted crap on their FBs to make a weak point? There are many ways to show that you are a good MP for example, meet the people session and constructing real ideas. Not wayang posts like on FBs which aren't helping at all.

Many should choose their analogies much better. Democracy vs gang rape... wth.... i still do not see the relevance through and through. Why use this analogy at all? First it is insensitive. Two it doesn't drive any point home. Three it is dumb. It is like a muslim cleric going to a USA airport and shout out loud to everyone 'I'm a terrorist!', when is he not. Being inconspicious doen't make you look lesser in your job performance if you can show results. Can someone drill this rule 101 into their brains?

Bro, when one's only claim to fame is the ability to sneak into parliament by riding on the coat-tails on the tried & tested, what can be expected? Just be grateful that our Senoko Power Plants are not given to sudden blackouts during vote tallying, ok? :lol2:

Re: Smart or stupid?

sg politicians all dont have a degree in politics, they are professional in their fields but amateur in politics.
personally i prefer amateur politicians as they are more truthful than professional ones.

He's not making shit up, the construction industry is made up largely by foreign workers... who's gonna build the homes if we stop bringing these workers in?
