How come the blown 3L in 535 get it to 100km/h slower (6.0 Sec) than in the X3 with xDrive (5.7 Sec)?

Could be due to sheer weight. I am just guessing. I have test driven both. the X3 does feel more lively and faster. I also find the x3 suspension better than the 535's.

read in yesterday's straits times article on X3 that the X3 is faster than 535 due to its all wheel drive..

ya, read sat's life about the X3 and was said to be faster as xDrive offer more traction.
But does 535 have traction issue during standing start?
If so, how does 335 and 135 manage 0-100 below 6 sec timing?
