Hi fellow members,
I have just joined the BMW-SG club and thanks for accepting me. Here are some details as introduction.
Name: Christopher Velthuisen (surname is Dutch - don't even try to pronounce it, you'll break your tongue)
Status: Expat from South Africa and been in Singapore since 1997 which almost makes me a Singaporean, even if only by conviction
Car: BMW Z4
Interests: Yachting, diving, some golf and tennis
Reasons for joining: Good to be around like minded folk
Look forward to meeting you at various meets etc.
Chris

err, you better rephrase that pnky tuscedero, not sure you wanna be "ridden" in one.

Welcome Chris, I bet i could say your last name.

Re: New member self-introduction

Don't want to take a ride in one and don't want to be ridden in one.

Re: New member self-introduction

hey..theres no diff in "ride" and "ridden"..my teacher said that..unless my teacher needs to see Rod too

Re: New member self-introduction

to take a ride in a car is to be a passenger

to be ridden in a car is to be in back seat, hitmee say one

ride and ridden are two different things, your teacher is stupid

one is past tense

I wish i had not ridden into that puddle
today raining a lot, wish i could ride my bike

you see?

anyway, ridden is not correct engrish
