Need help for BMW 318i, Newbie here =(

Hello everyone, sorry, I just joined this forum not long ago and actually quite new to BMW cars.

recently I just bought a second-hand 318i from car dealer and today, I just send my car to PML for vehicle check, however, on the way there today from my house, I realize the engine oil service indicator shown up, it means low on engine oil right? (pls correct me if i m wrong)

so ya, i gonna spend 200 for vehicle check and top up of engine oil at PML.
but i just wish to know, what may be the casue for the low in engine oil level? FYI, the car dealer just did a engine oil servicing before handing the car over to me =.=

what's the mileage on the car? hope dealer never lie to you that they really did a engine oil service.......

erm..mileage abt 100k?
that car is a 2009 nov car thou... ya lo.. but they got paste the servicing sticker lei and service info everything also reset at that point of time..according to the servicing info on the car system, they say abt 9k more to go before the next servicing date...

but I just look through the forum and realized that there's actually alot of leakage areas/ parts for BMW 318i actually..lolx..

no wonder before i purchased BMW, friends keep telling me that BMW cars are troublesome to maintain..lolx..

Also some internal engine seals may have worn out.oil is burnt inside the combustion chamber. If serious, you will see smoke from the exhaust

omg really?? n just now PML just give me a call..they said that my car have 2 major problem now..
one is the what undercarriage leakage or what, which cause about 900 dollars...
another one will be just the front brake bar or something..-.-

My previous E90 also has a slight oil leak due to wear out rubber seal, this is due wear and tear, rubber seals don't last forever.
Anyways just replaced lah. U can always send ur ride to BMW friendly workshop. Had my replaced under 200++

Seal and gasket are the common problems. I'm driving a 318 2011 and all seems good. I go back PML for normal servicing and outside workshop for parts change. Enjoy your ride!

oh...ya lo..that what i found out too..n seems like, PML quoted me quite ex actually just to fix engine oil leaks : crankshaft oil seal..
they quoted me 900 for that -.-

bro, can share how much do you pay for normal servicing at PML?
