Anyone use before the Mantis Instant Shine? Any FR on this product? I saw the advertisement advertise until very effective.

Re: Mantis Instant Shine

It's just an over priced quick detailer. Can get them at much lower prices in the market.

Re: Mantis Instant Shine

Yah, overpriced waterless car cleaner. Used one bottle before, smells like honey dew, quite good actually but like I said, too expensive.

Re: Mantis Instant Shine

It's quite good... But for that price, you can get other better product... (Or at least branded...)

$19+ if I recall correctly. Since last year it was launched in Giant, they have now extended the promo to Esso Stations and many other places... but prices remained unchanged. Strange.

Re: Mantis Instant Shine

How does a "waterless car cleaner" work?

Spray on, wait 1 min for the liquid to 'lift" the dirt/dust, wipe off.

Only for low dirt/dust cars...not for cars fresh out of rally

The Mantis advert is ridiculous as it will scratch the paintwork

Any dust or small grain will scratch the paintwork........ the wiping off action sure create swirls or scratch marks.

which is why I will use a pail of water and damp cloth to wipe off. Crazy to use zero water as claimed by these adverts. Like I said, for low dust only. I have been using waterless cleaners for many years and my paintwork is still good cos I do it every weekend. I da cleaner
