BMW needs to make a proper supercar-looking trophy model... a four-door M6 is no answer to the SLS and R8.

That ain't gonna happen anytime soon I'm afraid The BMW board is only interested in making more $ and that usually means staying away from halo cars. BMW themselves seem insecure at competing at the higher rung of the market. I look forward to the day when M is allowed to do their own cars instead of the usual series cars derived M variants and I am not talking about the lame M1 grandfather. They need to bury that and move on with something cutting edge...
