10 Good Reasons Why You Should Get the BMW E82 135i:

1. 2979 cc
2. 302 bhp
3. twin turbo N54B30 inline 6 engine
4. sexy coupe looks
5. 0-100km in 4.7 secs
6. that's bloody fast
7. and bloody powerful
8. yet nimble and nifty round corners
9. I'm recommending you to get it
10. need I say more?

Do a search on the forum for Bro e46monster's souped up 135i - it was featured in a recent edition of Torque magazine. Super chio!

PML brings in the 135i on an indent basis (meaning that you'd have to wait for at least 3 months or so for your ride to come in) at S$169k, which I believe has risen to at least S$173k by now, no thanks to the rising COE. Alternatively, I've seen PIs in papers advertising for a brand new 135i at just S$159k, that's just S$8k more than my 125i darn!

Ok ok just ignore my morning ramblings, what do I know right? :ultrasho:

Nah ... my Bavarian girlfriend is not even close to e46monster's powerful 135i, even after some minor mods. It's just that I have a pair of itchy eye (for photo composition) and finger (for pressing on the camera shutter, get your mind outta the gutter) for photography, and prefer to tell my mod story in pictures :chinese:

Welcome...

135i is almost the dream setup..probably good to check that you are happy with the space for your passenger in the rear..

Hope u get your ride soon and enjoy the famed N54 engine..just watch out for white ants..quite easy to go beyond legal limits with so much power on tap..

Cheers

hmm....apparently whn I went down to PML sometime last month for a test drive, they didnt have one available for test. Also I was told by the SE that they dont bring inthe 6-spd manual version, even if wanted to indent, so I think maybe hve to go thru PI.

Any idea what the insurance and running costs fo this car i like? Say for a 33 yr old with 40% NCD? Also on avg what sort of mileage per litre can we expect?
Currently driving WRX so I expect insurance and maintainence wise shouln be too far off :D

Yup. No chance of test driving it coz like I said, PML only brings them in on an indent basis only. You might want to check out SunAuto - been seeing them advertise for an available 135i for $159k for the past few weeks so I suppose there is existing stock for it. Check with the PI and see if can test drive it lor.

The insurance and running costs shouldn't differ too much from your WRX I guess. But safer to check with Bro e46monster. He should be able to advise you better.

Time to ditch the Rex and get yourself a much more powerful, classier and sexier 135i. :shhhh:

ok....will pop down to chck it out maye sometime next weekend.

The Rex is a really fun car to drive, both on B-roads and on track. Love the car. The only thing is nowadays with the price so cheap, alot of youngsters are getting it and also crashing the car and sending insurance skyrocketing. Last yr with 20% NCD, I was paying 1.7k for insurance. This yr with 30% NCD, my premium went up to 2.3k....sucks man. :(
Also its a marked car by ROV due to the potential for mods, and often get tailed by those LTA bikers....

more powerful, maybe not ;) but definitely sexier and more classy....and definitely not an LTA magnet lik the rex :p
