N54toN47: Yap. Currently driving a s2k. Going to be 5 yrs old already and still loving it. If possible, going to keep it until 10 yrs old and beyond. The Beemer is registered under my wifey and going to have two child seats in the back for our kids.

F10 has really good safety ratings, NCAP 5 stars i believe.

Yap! One of the reasons why we got the car. Tested out the Volvo XC60. Like the safety features but the drive... *sigh* Only problem is that my wife still prefers a hatch back while I prefer a sedan. For this time round, I got my way.
Btw, can someone enlighten me about what's the big deal about this Triple Service Package? I thought servicing is servicing? You mean have different types of servicing?

the first time you send your ride to pml for servicing or to troubleshoot some rattling sound... you better bring some iron tablet.... you will need it..

should see it not so much as a problem but rather a trait of the make you have bought into. some sounds go away completely, some for a while and some you live with. I think that sums it up.
Its a great car to drive!

Don't scare you first... but if go pml and look carefully.. there is a table with a buddha palm imprint and a crack window caused by lion roar...

lol! I guess almost every AD has this kind of table? At least I hope I do not need to book 3 months in advance for servicing at PML or to be attended to for any problems. Our current bad encounters with VCS has stopped us from getting any more vehicles from them.
