I bought a used F20 118i recently and it seems to be a headache for me so far...
The car jerks heavily when shifting from gear 1 to gear 2, especially at low speeds...
My regular workshop (let's call them S) changed the ATF and filter which helped reduce the jerking significantly but the jerking is still there.
S suspect it could be solenoid issue, so they recommended me another workshop that supposedly specialised in gearbox repair to take a deeper look (let's call them M). The owner of M workshop said changing the solenoid likely wouldn't solve the issue so the gearbox needs an overhaul.
M resetted something that he claimed was supposedly going to help ease the jerk temporarily but the jerk got worse instead.
I'm not sure who to trust and Google didn't give me a concise answer either...
Any bros and sis here had a similar issue? Hope to figure out how to resolve it for good without dumping moolah at the wrong direction...
