Considering 116i 2011/2012 Second generation

Considering to purchase a pre-owned 116i 2011/2012 model from PPSL. What are the common problems I should be looking out for? Has anyone purchased with PPSL before?

Heard from friends that BMWs are problematic past their 5 year mark. Wondering how true this is? Is a 5-year old BMW still worth purchasing?
