After testing between a 2013 316i and a 2016 318i at Kampong Arang, I decide to get the 318i instead. Overall the 318i is smoother and nicer to drive. The depreciation currently is surprisingly lower for the 318i. When the 316i reaches 7 years and above, you will get a hefty bill for the engine repair as the N13 is known to have broken plastic guide rails in the engine, as seen in numerous pictures here.
318i - at least it is LCI model.........unless you prefer 4cyc then 316i...as 318i (3cyc)
both rides using the same 8-speed gearbox so pretty smooth...

why get a 3 cylinder car unless you are on budget?
no choice LCI model only 3cyc unless 340i?
