Forget the disguising – here are the best pictures yet of the BMW 1-series Cabrio. It really is coming, and we snapped it testing close to the firm’s test-centre at Nürburgring.
BMW-enthusiasts can look forward to the summer of 2008 when the small topless BMW will arrive at dealers – for a relatively low price.
Since the 3 series CC has made its jump upwards, it has made room for a new cabrio based on the 1 series. Main characteristics of the new soft-top will be the flat windscreen and a low, coupé-like canvas roof.
Power will come from the same range of engines as the five-door 1-series, and we expect diesel engines to be available, too.
