For a continously updated on the Max Performance Summer Tyres based on Dry/Wet Grip, Comfort, Feedback, Progessiveness and Wear Rate.

1) Tyre Reviews (GY F1 A2 and PSS are inclusive):
= Tyre Passenger Car Summer Max Performance Tyres Tyres | the online tyre guide (Ignore the rated #1 tyre, it is too new and no track test as of today)

2) Tire Rack (GY F1 A1 and PSS inclusive, GY F1 A2 nope)
= Consumer Survey Results By Category

3) For an Introductory Track Drive of the Michelin Pilot Super Sport (PSS)
= Michelin Pilot Super Sport Introductory Track Drive

IMHO as at June 2012....

a) If I am going for Non Run Flats, it is either PSS or GY F1 A2, between these 2, e best price I can get, will be my choice.

b) If I am going for Run Flats, it is either PS2 ZP or Potenza RE050A, again between these 2, e best price would be my choice. Recently changed my ride's shoes and it is Potenza RE050A, best price I got between e two of course :)

Cents worth.

Based on Tyre Reviews (link below), PS3 has less comfort compared to F1 A2... being less comfortable I suppose noise is inclusive.

Any feedback on the noise level? I cannot tahan very noisy tyre.
I am currently on GY EffiecientGrip, very quiet even at around 30k mileage but grip is average.

Re: anyone on Goodyear F1 A2?

after run in

more grip and quiet :woottt:

using efficiency grip on another car, a SUV

this F1A2 is better

GY F1A2 is a league above GY EfficientGrip in both the wet and dry grip domain.

Which ever tyre is noiser etc is dependent on what the dealer has in stock and their margin........

Re: anyone on Goodyear F1 A2?

I just changed to a set of used rims with Gdyr F1 A2 last week. i believe the tires were a couple month old, 245/40/18. so far grip is good, quiet and the ride is very comfortable; i like it. duno why PML sells BMW with stupid RFT in such a small country like Singapore when the car is so much nicer to drive on normal tires.

Re: anyone on Goodyear F1 A2?

Have been on GY Asm II for last half year, tyres are pretty comfortable and must say grip's pretty good too. Compared to Michelin PS2, sidewall is not as firm under hard cornering.... But for the price, think it's worth it...
