Accident happen in year 2011

Hey guys,
Had a accident in year 2011
Then got my car repair and claim against the other party.( got him sign a paper state that he was in the wrong)
And the work shop that repair my car also help me settle all the claim.

Then the interesting part come yesterday
I receive a lawyer letter which I was cc to.
The laywer letter was issue to my insurance company. Saying that the the thirds party is claiming against me .

Can someone tell me what I should do?
Or I shouldn't be doing anything?
What would happen from here?
But why 4 years later?

if not wrong after 3 years， they have to close off the case

The case is open to any party to claim for 6 years.

But what will happen from here?
I have already change insurance company as well.
First time encounter .....hahaa
