Hi! Have you shortlisted any? Repair list would probably depend on the mileage clocked.
If you are intending to just drive for next 2 years, safer to go for low mileage ones with recent service records as higher mileage usually means higher wear and tear. Then standby a small sum just in case...
If happened only a few days after servicing, the leak shd be quite easy to detect.
Other reasons could probably be the workshop didn’t fill up to maximum (to save costs ????) or the oil level reader is faulty?
Common issue for F10. Need to change the yellow cover between engine bay and front passenger. Shd be about $1xx excluding cost of drying.
Use newspaper to soak up the excess water first.
For my Remus, took about 8 weeks from start to approval/inspection via the LTA route. 8 weeks because now cannot do walk-in enquiry at LTA, so email reply was pretty slow. If can walk-in, shd be able to do in 2 weeks.
Instructions given by LTA officer was pretty detailed, just follow and submit...
Hi Algino, same thing happened to my 2013 F10 in April this year. Rear aircon, only right side affected. Discharge hot air about 5-10 minutes after starting engine. According to workshop, changed broken heater valve and one (of many) server motor and it was solved.
Hope this helps.
Happened to my F30 316i at about 70k mileage. Especially dangerous when suddenly no power after filtering out onto main road.
Changed front fuel pump, changed back fuel pump ..... still happened. In the end, discovered it was the fuel pump control unit that was faulty.
