Re: Wrapping my AH5 with M5 Bodykit
Actually, I don't mind to part with the 535 front brake over kopi-c siew tai + ....+.... until I hear about the ah pek oem kit, which I have been putting up with for about a year.
Anyway, let me resolve what brakes to get first....
Re: Wrapping my AH5 with M5 Bodykit
You mean sell off? Yes, I doubt it will be any good to keep in my store. Likewise, I have a very mint and well polished set of bodykit from my Activehybrid 5 that I am prepared to let go for a song to anyone interested. You can choose either front...
Re: Wrapping my AH5 with M5 Bodykit
Thanks bros for all the advice. I have decided to keep my stock exhaust and focus on my next mod, which is likely the brakes. Brembo or Stop Tech. Because of my 19 in rim, I can only settle for the Brembo 365mm 4 pot vs Stop Tech's 380mm 6 pot...
Re: Wrapping my AH5 with M5 Bodykit
After realizing that there is no LTA approved exhaust system for AH5 (which is not equal to 535 unfortunately), I have decided to stick to my stock exhaust and changed the diffuser instead. Thought you guys might want a conclusion on my thread.
Re: F10 520i FC?????
You are right and I also just learned that LTA approval for 535i is not equal to AH5. I believe the other exhaust systems should be the same. Which means that looks like I have to install a dummy pipe to make good. Unless anyone else has a better suggestion for me.
Re: F10 520i FC?????
Dead quiet when leisurely and a very nice but can tell its powerful vroom vroom when pushed. Very satisfied. No regrets upgrading from F10 520i which I got about 8-9 km per litre.
Re: F10 520i FC?????
And mine is 21k km already and coming to 1 year old. I drive the AH5 and my FC is 14 km/l on a good leisurely month or when my missus drives when i am put of town, and averages 11 km/l on Sports Mode.
I recently de-kitted my Activehybrid 5 Bodykit as I upgraded to the M5 Conversion kit. Thought of keeping it for a while just in case but if anyone is interested to purchase any parts (front, rear or side skirt, etc), please let me know. It should be complete but buyer will have to check for...
Re: F10 tyre uneven wear
Looks to me like you are commuting daily to office or some building that has a spiral ramp that is turning clockwise....plus your more aggressive drive up or down. Mine showed symptoms on both sides of front tyres.
Re: Wrapping my AH5 with M5 Bodykit
My job requires that I be conservative unfortunately - at least on the surface. That's why it's a hybrid and why M5 kit. I want an exhaust that behaves normally when not pushed but will give out a great low roaring sound when excited. Any...
